Release status

RegesARC 0.0.1 is an engineering preview for Windows x64. A per-user installer and portable build have been produced and exercised locally. Public download distribution, publisher signing and an automatic update channel have not been qualified as a general release. An earlier Lemonade-only installer was approximately 834 MB. A Strata-enabled candidate has additional private runtime resources; use the exact candidate manifest rather than that earlier size. No model weights are included. Exact bytes and SHA-256 belong to the specific release manifest.

Do not use the website’s interface preview as an installer. Obtain the intended engineering artifact from the project owner, and verify its manifest before execution. A signed installer compiler does not make the resulting application publisher-signed.

Surface Status in 0.0.1
Local GGUF scan, import and bounded metadata inspection Implemented
Exact context and GPU-layer controls, memory admission Implemented; estimate is coarse
Private Lemonade, load/unload, streamed text chat Implemented
Stop generation, recovery, saved local conversations Implemented and exercised
Hardware snapshot, logs, diagnostic export Implemented
Model discovery/download catalog Design preview; not native
Strata hybrid cache Installed functional proof passed: exact RegesCore 35B, 8,192 context, 1,792 MiB cache, eight CPU participants
Per-response metrics Live/final DOM matched native events; saved/reopened stats passed on that installed Strata profile
Explicit GPU + RAM-expert placement / CPU threads Installed functional qualification passed on the exact reference artifact
Agents, MCP, skills, editor, terminal, browser tools Planned; atlas simulations only
Public REST API, SDK, CLI, remote linking Planned
Linux, Windows ARM, macOS, MLX Not qualified

The installed Windows application used the exact RegesCore-1.0-35B-MXFP4_MOE GGUF at 8,192 context and 12 GPU layers on a CUDA system. It completed a simple arithmetic response, stopped a separate generation, completed a recovery response, unloaded, and restored saved history after restart. The selected file’s size and modification time were unchanged. Secure Electron preferences and private-runtime shutdown were checked.

A second installed check exercised all GPU layers plus CPU-routed experts with eight CPU threads at the same 8,192 context, including generation, cancellation, recovery, unload and history relaunch. The active engine remained Lemonade.

The installed Strata path separately completed arithmetic, history-dependent chat, cancellation, recovery, unload and relaunch at 1,792 MiB cache. Its per-response metrics matched actual native counts/timings and survived reopening.

This is a functional smoke test, not a reasoning benchmark or a speed comparison. It does not establish all-model compatibility, performance parity with LM Studio, 397B support, or equality to BF16 weights. Read validation evidence for the scope and benchmarking for a meaningful comparison protocol.

Normal guides describe the current core. Planned interface pages specify future work and intentionally provide no invented install commands. Research & design pages describe experiments or mockups. A future release should move a capability between those categories only after its actual implementation and tests exist.
